River launches “River Plate Global”, a new set of international social media accounts

As part of its international growth strategy — and just a month away from the Club World Cup — River launches River Plate Global, its new English-language social media channels.
Through this new platform, River aims to strengthen its global presence by sharing its history, current updates, and passion with fans and audiences around the world.
Stefano Di Carlo, River’s General Secretary, explained: “This is a new step in the internationalization process we’ve been developing. River is already a global brand thanks to its football, its legacy of greatness both on and off the pitch, and everything the Club represents. With a strong digital presence, this new initiative will allow us to expand our reach even further by adding a new language and connecting with international audiences. We want to be even closer to those who live this passion in every corner of the world."
River Plate is one of the most iconic clubs in world football, both historically and today. With almost 124 years of history, over 350,000 members, and millions of fans across the globe, River is a cornerstone of Argentine sport, widely respected for its classic playing style and for having developed many of the world’s greatest footballers over the decades.
