In a press conference on Tuesday, April 5th, the Monumental’s Stadium new naming partner for the next seven years (until April 2029) was announced. The event was attended by Francisco de Narvaez (President of Grupo De Narváez) and Jorge Brito (President of River Plate).

Based on this agreement, the stadium’s new name will be Mâs Monumental. This name, together with the new logo, will be displayed on the Club’s and the Stadium’s various billboards. The Mâs brand will also be displayed on the welcome sign at River Camp.

The proceeds from this momentous deal will go towards financing part of the Monumental Stadium's remodeling work, which was unanimously approved first by the Board of Directors and then by the Members’ Representative Assembly.

Jorge Brito said: “This is a historic partnership for not only River Plate but also the club's members and fans. The modernization and enlargement of stadiums worldwide were made possible thanks to naming rights. This is why we celebrate our partnership with Mâs, which will help us materialize our dream: having a larger, better, and more comfortable stadium for our fans to enjoy. We take pride in the fact that the Monumental Stadium will become South America’s largest stadium. We're aiming higher, we aim for Mâs Monumental.”

For his part, Francisco De Narvaez said: “This partnership between such a prestigious club that captures the hearts of millions of Argentines and a company like ours, present all over the country with more than 92 stores, is an opportunity to grow. Argentina is characterized by mixed feelings: on the one hand, we are constantly facing challenges, but on the other hand, people are very passionate and want to see the country prosper. The Argentine people want and choose to put faith in their country, and we have decided that we want to play a leading role.
