River, among the 50 most valuable teams in America The prestigious magazine Forbes placed el Millonario in the list of the most important clubs in the continent; it occupies the 21st place, making it the best positioned of Argentina.

The US magazine Forbes (Mexican version), specialized in business and finance, published, for the fourth consecutive year, the annual list of the most valuable clubs in America. In said list, River Plate occupies the 21st place, being the first of Argentina (behind it, Boca, Independiente and San Lorenzo).
The ranking, led by Corinthians from Brazil, was written on the basis of a revision of the 16 leagues in America (150 teams), with institutions from Argentina, Brazil, United States, Mexico, Canada, Colombia and Chile. The categories taken into account are: the value of the players that belong to each club; income per TV rights; cost of the stadium and value of the brand.
