River Plate was superior in the match against Boca and deserved more Marcelo Gallardo's team failed to take advantage of the several scoring chances generated and the result was 0-0 in the Super Classic played at the Monumental Stadium.

Monumental Stadium was again the scene of a new Super Classic, River arrived at the match after beating Independiente in the last commitment and the need of getting the three points to get close to the top of the championship.
River had very clear situations in the first half, including a shot from Gabriel Mercado after a free kick, an opportunity for Leonardo Ponzio previous assistance of Sebastián Driussi and Rodrigo Mora crashed a shot off the post.
Boca only generated trouble with a shot from Sebastián Palacios and took no danger centers to the goal of Marcelo Barovero. In this way, a totally dominating River went to the half time with the certainty that deserved to be up on the score.
In the second half, the tone was the same: the Millionaire not let play Boca and counted with very clear chances: a shot of Driussi after a defensive fail, a shot by Ignacio Fernandez inside the area and in an unbeatable location Ivan Alonso failed to connect and Mora, on the rebound, could not adapt to define.
In conclusion, River added a point that does not reflect the action of the game against a team that didn't generate danger and went back to La Boca satisfied with the draw.
